Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the WorkMachine platform, published by Code-Garage (hereinafter "Code-Garage" or "we"). By accessing WorkMachine, you unreservedly accept these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

WorkMachine is a resume creation and optimisation platform designed for developers and tech engineers. The service includes analysing an existing resume, suggesting improvements, and optimising content for recruitment processes.

The service is currently offered as a free beta with no commitment. Code-Garage reserves the right to introduce pricing upon commercial launch, with advance notice to registered users.

3. Access to the Service

Access to WorkMachine requires registration. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Each account is strictly personal and may not be shared or transferred.

4. User Obligations

By using WorkMachine, you agree to:

  • Not use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of these Terms.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Code-Garage's systems.
  • Not submit content that infringes third-party rights (copyright, personal data of others, etc.).
  • Not use the service to send unsolicited communications.
  • Respect Code-Garage's intellectual property rights.

5. Ownership of Your Data

You retain full ownership of the content you submit to WorkMachine (resume, professional information, etc.). By submitting such content, you grant Code-Garage a limited, non-exclusive licence to analyse and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. Code-Garage Intellectual Property

The WorkMachine platform, its algorithms, interface, texts and graphic elements are the exclusive property of Code-Garage and are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction is prohibited without prior written authorisation.

7. Limitation of Liability

WorkMachine is provided "as is", particularly during the beta period. Code-Garage does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce specific results (job offers, interview callbacks, etc.). Code-Garage cannot be held responsible for hiring decisions made by third parties.

8. Amendments

Code-Garage reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Registered users will be notified by email of any material changes. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using WorkMachine at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting nicolas@code-garage.fr. Code-Garage reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction where Code-Garage's registered office is located.
